Science results: AGN studies with AstroSat

India's first multi-wavelength space observatory AstroSat is capable of simultaneous near UV to hard X-ray multi-wavelength observations. AstroSat has observed a number of AGNs including Seyferts, blazars, changing-look Active Galactic Nuclei and Tidal disruption events. These observations have enabled UV/X-ray broadband spectroscopy and UV/X-ray timing studies of AGNs. These studies have revealed a number of interesting results including the connection between accretion disk and corona, truncated accretion disks, seed photons for thermal Comptonisation, variable absorption in Seyfert type AGNs, and rare spectral transition and associated disk/corona changes in a changing look AGN. This talk will discuss AstroSat results on Seyfert type AGN.
